Bluebirds

TNB 2023/2025

The TNB 24/25 season begins with Bluebirds. Set in Étaples, France, 1918. Nurses Christy, Maggie, and Bab have crossed oceans to care for wounded Canadian soldiers in the Great War. Despite the terrible injuries they must deal with, they manage to stay hopeful as the dangers of the front draw closer to their hospital. Through it all, the three women find friendship, independence, power, and influence in a place where men, once again, are trying to destroy the world.

Greetings

TNB 2023/2025

One Hundred Years of Family Life — birthdays, funerals, wars, and feuds; engagements, breakups, elopements, elections, school days, and holidays; tears, queers, debts, and secrets; I love yous, I hate yous… and all the news in between — in Twelve Letters. Greetings takes the form of 12 pieces of correspondence between a New Brunswick family spanning from 1924-2024.

Greetings is a story told entirely through letters. When you purchase a ticket on the TNB website, you sign up for 12 deliveries. Over several weeks, you will receive 12 pieces of mail delivered directly to your address.

Tree Boy

When Avery uncovers a plot by his father to cut down his favourite tree, he enrols his best friend to live with him in the yard (No TV! No video games! Nothing!) to protest. But when a heated debate over soccer and global warming goes sour, Avery questions if he has the guts to be an Enviro-Man or is he merely, as his sister calls him, a Tree Boy.
