I love all my courses. I enjoy singing and acting very much. My instructors are always an inspiration to me. I REALLY like making new friends and this is the best place for that. Matthias, age 10
The confidence developed through this program is fantastic. This is one activity in our busy schedule that she never wants to miss! Kim Fullerton, parent
Growing up in the Theatre School has ultimately changed my life. The Theatre New Brunswick Theatre School has given me a head start on the lessons that I am learning in the professional theatre world. I am so thankful for the school and I would encourage any young New Brunswick artist to participate in the programs available. Colton Curtis, five years at TNB Theatre School & currently appearing at the Charlottetown Festival
Theatre New Brunswick Theatre School, endowed by the Stephen Graham Bird Trust, is dedicated to providing outstanding theatre training that educates and awakens the imaginations of young New Brunswickers. Founded in 1999, we offer young theatre artists first-class training in acting, singing, voice, and dance in a fun and supportive environment. We train over 300 aspiring performers each year, attracting students from as far away as Toronto, Maine, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
Whether you are the recreational student who does it “just for fun” or the motivated student with stars in your eyes, we offer a wide variety of training opportunities for young people ages 5 to adult.
Students benefit from training with Theatre New Brunswick Theatre School by developing:
- Creativity
- Imagination
- Self-confidence
- Performance Skills
- Physical Fitness
- Lifelong Friendships
The generous support of the Theatre New Brunswick Foundation has helped the Theatre School continue to grow. The Theatre New Brunswick Foundation bursary allows talented students who cannot afford the cost of tuition to attend the Theatre School.
Join us for an unforgettable year of laughter, fun, and the magic of theatre.
