Dennis receives a call from his mother telling him that his best friend from boyhood, Scooter Thomas, has died. This poignant coming-of-age story looks at the choices we make when youthful expectations meet the realities of adulthood. In addition to Scooter Thomas, playwright Peter Parnell wrote the stage adaptation of John Irving’s The Cider House Rules and served as a writer and producer on television’s The West Wing.
