Fredericton, NB – Theatre New Brunswick Young Company is thrilled to embark on another tour around the province, beginning Monday January 25 and continuing through to April 9. “We have an epic anniversary season this year, jam packed with every theatrical delight that can be squeezed into two shows,” said Artistic Producer Caleb Marshall, “but most importantly, we have two great stories that touch on many important themes.”
TNB Young Company will be presenting The Sword in the Stone to elementary and middle school students, and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged to middle and high school students.
“Theatre New Brunswick is proud to have been able to offer enlightening, engaging theatre that has sparked the imagination of our youth throughout this province for the last thirty-five years,” says Marshall, “I am also proud to be from a generation raised on TNB and deeply honoured to now be able to offer another generation of students a theatrical experience that for some will remain moments remembered for life.”
In celebration of TNB Young Company’s anniversary, there will be an opening performance of both productions January 23 in the Black Box Theatre at St. Thomas University, beginning at 7pm.
