The Bricklin Adds Additional Dates: August 3rd and 10th

Fredericton, NB - Responding to solid demand for tickets, the producers of The Bricklin have added two additional show dates: Tuesday, August 3rd and 10th at 8pm.

Tim Yerxa, Fredericton Playhouse Executive Director, says, “The response to this show has been great, and we’re excited to be able to add performances to accommodate the growing interest. The momentum is building for this fantastic production, with a lot of people booking tickets for their family and friends visiting this summer.”

The Bricklin, the new Canadian 1970’s inspired musical, takes a lighthearted look at an iconic time in New Brunswick’s history -- a time when the dreams of an entrepreneur to build a sexy sports car merge with the ambition of a Premier to take New Brunswick onto the world stage.

“This story has always grabbed people’s imaginations,” says Caleb Marshall, Theatre New Brunswick's Artistic Producer.  “And the show's combination of story, music and style is pure fun, and we’re seeing this reflected in demand for tickets.”

Commissioned by the Fredericton Playhouse, The Bricklin and its premiere production is co-produced with Theatre New Brunswick. It is the first major collaboration between the two organizations since they became separate entities ten years ago.
