Extraordinary theatre begins at home.

Towards the end of the 2011-2012 season, young Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz clicked her heels and declared “there’s no place like home.”

In the 2012-2013 TNB season our stories have that sense of familiarity and nostalgia with well-known themes and titles. We welcome back one of Fredericton’s most-beloved playwrights and favourite TNB talent while showcasing new playwrighting voices, new partnerships and an icon of New Brunswick Acadian theatre.

We believe extraordinary theatre begins at home. Our job at TNB is to bring the very best of the country and the world to New Brunswick while showcasing our best and nurturing the practice of theatre at home by providing opportunities for local theatre artists. We’re proud that this year there are more opportunities than ever before for our local community to be part of the season.
