The household of a lonely English manor is turned upside down when a neglected orphan unlocks a hidden door and brings life back to both the family and their Secret Garden.
Set in the Sussex area in the 1880’s, The Dollar Woman introduces us to the world of pauper auctions, a system whereby each year the community’s poor were auctioned or “rented” to the lowest bidder.
With each part done in the style of a famous Broadway composer, this truly is a nod to the genre of musical theatre itself.
TNB Senior Musical Theatre students will cap a phenomenal 2011-2012 season with their presentation of the beloved fantasy adventure The Wizard of Oz.
